so- here's my stand. nothing too fancy for this one as its purely for the tutors to mark. The big exhibitions are in a few weeks, so i can iron out (ha!) any problems before then and sort out my presentation graphics and theyre put under the publics scrutiny.

Perhaps i should explain my project. I started to look at clothes horses, a temporary solution that often becomes a permanent feature in a home. That lead to looking at alternative placement for drying clothes. I especially like the language of coat hangers and the idea of glamourising the chore of laundry, and encouraging people to air their dirty laundry in public.
So i produced a light fitting, designed to be a chandelier which you can hang your drying clothes on, or just showcase your favourite shirts. The 'lampshade' changes with the clothing thats been hung on it- changing the temperature of the light in a room, and the dispersion of light.
